Both races are certified and follow a counter-clockwise loop. Begin on Route 35 in front of the Senior Center and finish on Route 9.
The 5 mile route stretches around Beach Avenue, detours onto the golf course for 1 mile and resumes with the last mile heading west on Route 9 to the finish.
The 3 mile route follows the same first 1 ½ miles as the 5 mile, bears right onto Boothby Road, and comes out onto Route 9 to the finish.
The combination of mostly flat paved roads along the coast with a section of excellent cart path running on Webhannet Golf Course make this a captivating run. The straightaway mile finish affords every runner a clear shot of the finish line!

FROM the South:
Take the Maine Turnpike to Wells, Exit 19. Turn left off the exit onto Route #109 East. Go until Route #109 intersects with Route #1. Take Route #1 (north). In about 2 miles you’ll see Route #9 off to the right—there’ll be a sign for Kennebunkport. Take Route #9 approximately 2 miles. Proceed straight through the first intersection. In another two miles you’ll come to where Routes #9 and Route #35 intersect. Turn left onto Route #35 (West). The Senior Center is the fourth building on the left, 175 Port Road. A beige building that looks like a house. It’s approximately ½ hour from when you cross the border into Maine.
FROM the North:
Take the Maine Turnpike to Kennebunk Exit #25. Take Route #35 South for 5 miles. The Senior Center is shortly after the Village Marketplace on the right. It’s a beige building that looks like a house. If you get to the intersection of Route #35 and #9, you’ve gone too far. It’s approximately ½ hour from Portland.
PARKING:
Parking is available on in the Village Marketplace (off Route #35), behind the Kennebunk-Kennebunkport Chamber of Commerce on Route #9, in the Kennebunkport Municipal parking lot (behind Alisson’s Restaurant) in Kennebunkport (1/4 mile+/- from starting line) and along side streets.
